UltraSonic Tank Liquid Level Sensor (Product Discontinued, see NCR-21 Radar Tank Liquid Level Sensor)

BinMaster offers an extensive lineup of ultrasonic level sensors – all of which are extremely accurate to 0.25% of the detected range. The loop powered models offer easy wiring and setup, along with Class 1, Div 2 approvals. Modbus-enabled sensors are perfect for any operation using the Modbus protocol, plus they are easily integrated into remote tank monitoring via the Internet using BinView. BinMaster offers these non-contact, liquid level sensors for compact tanks with measuring ranges from 4 inches up to 50 feet and a variety of hazardous location approvals to meet the demands of the oil and gas and chemical processing industries. The most popular application of ultrasonic level sensors is measuring the level or volume of a body of liquid in a tank, well, pit, or lake. If the vessel is linear, then estimating volume is easy. In non-linear vessels, the MNU sensor can accept a strapping table to adjust the reading to a volume as level rises and falls. Another great application for ultrasonic sensors is open channel flow monitoring used in water treatment plants, in environmental monitoring, and in irrigation canals.
