Model 3S TOC Analyzer

The Model 3S TOC analyzer measures total organic carbon in liquid samples using UV persulfate oxidation with carbon dioxide detection by nondispersive infrared absorption (NDIR). The sample is first acidified and then sparged to remove inorganic carbon. Sodium persulfate is then mixed with the remaining liquid and digested by two high performance reactors. The resulting carbon dioxide is stripped from the liquid and then measured by a NDIR analyzer. This method of TOC measurement conforms to EPA, DIN, CE, ASTM, and NAMUR regulations, and meets the requirements of ISO and EN directives.
