Loner GPS

The Loner GPS is a self-contained safety device for mobile workers that includes:

 

→  "Panic button" emergency alerting

→   Automated motion-sensing

→   Automated timed check-ins

 

All safety alerts communicated to monitoring personnel include the geographic location of the worker in distress for immediate and efficient emergency response.  Monitoring options include email, SMS (texting), web portal, and staffed call centre alerting.  All configuration is done via your own account on the web portal.  Integration to your existing call centre and safety response procedures is made simple.

 

The Loner GPS provides significant advances compared to the common check-in procedure as follows:

• GPS location available upon safety alert notification
• Automated time check-ins require no involvement of any other people and no associated costs.  Only upon failure of response during check-in is a safety alert provided and intervention required.
• Automated motion sensing provides safety alerting even when the worker becomes incapacitated
• "Panic button" coupled with realtime GPS location provide a simple method of alerting when cell phone use may not be possible

A Blackberry app is also available allowing supervisors to be vigilant of the safety of their field staff.
